RESET! is a collective formed in 2007 in Milan by 5 djs, producers and promoters, in the game since ten long years.
Whether it’s in the studio, behind the decks or promoting their own nights, Reset! have established themselves as an A-List act, regularly pulling in more than 2000 clubbers to their own infamous parties in Milan and clocking up the air miles playing some of the biggest parties around the world, touring Asia, Australia and Europe.
Sharing the stage with the world’s biggest DJs and dance acts such as Justice at Club 75’s closing party at Pacha, Ibiza, Pete Tong at Wonderland, Ibiza or with Digitalism, Rusko and Erol Alkan at the HARD Festival in Los Angeles, RESET! have shown they can more than hold their own mixing up everything from electro, bassline, filter house, disco, nu school joints and old school party anthems.
Indeed it was after playing alongside house legends Cassius at one of their own nights that RESET! were invited to rework the French duo’s anthemic “Youth, Speed, Trouble, Cigarettes”. The resulting remix, heavily supported by the likes of A-Trak and Crookers, remained on Beatport’s Indie Dance Top 10 for several weeks and featured on both a Mixmag cover CD and Ministry of Sound’s Electro House Sessions 3 compilation.
Following this breakthrough RESET!’s unmistakable funk yet banging sound has been in constant demand with the boys adding their Italian touch to a string of remixes for the likes of Audio Bullys, Robyn, Fatboy Slim & Herve, The Count & Sinden, Fenech Soler and once again Cassius, remixing the house classic Cassius 99.
Signing to Cheap Thrills, the leading British house label set up by DJ/producer Hervé, the crew released two EP’s, “My Trunk ” and “Prepare To Fight”, full of upfront bass heavy, disco sample laden house and electro that they call TURBO FUNK.
Already favourites with the likes of Justice’s Xavier De Rosnay, Radio 1’s Annie Mac, Alex Metric, Jaymo & Andy George, Foamo, NAPT and thousands of clubbers around the world, RESET! are about to take it to the next level with their third EP on Cheap Thrills. Stay tuned!

RESET!is a touring party started in 2007 in a small, underground venue namednSottomarino Giallo as a purpose to ‘reset’ standards in a immobile phase of Milano’s nightlife, where dark techno atmosphere, cheesy commercial events or elitism of the fashion scene seemed to be the only choices in town, and real alternative events seemed to have disappeared.
RESET! shook this all with a positive and wild atmosphere, a mix of funk, electro, nu disco and hiphop , hundreds of CDs handed out, loads of different gadgets, friendly prices, a mixed crowd and a no-guestlist / no-VIP policy – bringing back to the clubs many peoples who didn’t hit the dancefloor in a long time and involving a whole new generation into electronic dance music.
After filling Sottomarino Giallo until it got crammed, RESET! moved its steps towards different locations, distant from mainstream circuits: big industrial spaces, lofts, swimming pools and even Parco Sempione (Milano’s main park, one of the symbolic places of the town), where 5000 party heads came together, until getting to a monthly residency at Magazzini Generali, most prestigious milanese club, in may 2009.
Locations are always and entirely self-built, projecting together with Vjs and Light Designers a luminous, colored and ‘positive’ environment, by using led lights, neons, refined video projections, interactive technologies as Augmented Reality and movement sensors.
RESET! played in the last 4 years a fundamental role in new-school electronic music’s diffusion in Milano by handing cd’s, choosing accurately its guests without the necessity to involve big names- indeed with the firm purpose to dig and launch new, talented artists- and is ultimately the most followed and influential collective in town.
