RESET! GOES GREEN

Reset! is the first sustainable party in Italy.

From september 2009 on, every single event was made ‘zero-emission’ by calculating gas carbon emissions created by the progress of the party and resetting them by joining the Forestazione Italia Boschi AzzeroCO2, a project concerned on re-forestation of Milano’s Parco Nord.

This project was chosen by Reset! in order to give milanese youth an example and show institutions that attention towards ecologist issues and, in general, social responsibility, can/could take place through socialization forms that are often disregarded and condemned by local authorities, as clubbing, by creating campaigns and small-yet-significative activities – as collecting signatures against privatization of water.

RESET! GOES GREEN relies on the experience and work of AzzeroCO2, that , as ESCo, supplies technical support in order to define promotional strategies on energetic efficiency, renewable sources, choice and use of materials . AzzeroCO2 compensates emissions associated to any particular activity through purchasing credits on the VER (Verified Emissions Reductions) type volunteer market, that enables to spontaneously contribute to the reaching of the Kyoto Protocol aims. The means of calculation are defined on the base of studies realized by international organisms and widely endorsed by the scientific community  (World Resources Institute, World Business Council for Sustainable Development, International Panel on Climate Change).
